GRAPH-LOCK® 3123 / 3125 Flexible Graphite Gasketing

Purified graphite sheet flexible graphite gasketing

The graphite flake has been acid washed, expanded under heat, and then compressed into sheets with a minimum graphite content of 98%. For thicknesses under 1/16” homogenous graphite is used. For thicknesses over 1/16” laminated graphite is used. The laminated graphite sheets are bonded with a proprietary adhesive. This adhesive makes up less than 1% of the total laminated weight.

FEATURES and BENEFITS

  • Excellent resistance
  • Pure exfoliated graphite flake material excels in extreme conditions, withstanding heat, pressure and aggressive chemicals
  • Proven fire-safe
  • Reliable
  • Seals easily under moderate bolt load, offers superior torque retention
  • Retains dimensional stability in high temperatures; seals tightly even during pressure fluctuations
