Updated - Garlock's Response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) - U.S. & Canada

To our valued customers,
 
With the rapid changes we are seeing both locally and globally, we wanted to take the time to send an update on what that currently means for Garlock and for you. 
We are operating as a supplier of essential products to essential industries exempting us from the in-person headcount reductions being mandated state-wide in New York. We remain open and operating to continue providing the goods and services so desperately needed during these uncertain times. 
 
Much of our non-production workforce has been set up to work remotely with all appropriate tools to handle your requests whether they are quote, order, or application related. Additionally, we are equipped to handle virtual product consultation, product training, and problem solving. Email remains the fastest and easiest means of prioritizing requests, but all agents are accessible via phone as well. Your local sales representatives are also available via email and cell phone to assist you with your needs. 
 
Additionally, we’ve taken steps to stagger standard work locations and times for our production colleagues to help safeguard their health and well-being using the social distancing guidelines outlined by the CDC, the WHO, and other health organizations. These changes may lead to some slight lead time extensions in the short term. Any changes to standard lead times will be confirmed on our quote and sales order acknowledgements. 
We will continue to monitor the situation and notify you at the earliest of any additional changes that will impact us or you during this time. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions or requests for clarification.
