A multinational chemical processor was having issues sealing their fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) flanges for more than 6 months due to chemical attack on the gasket. FRP flanges can be difficult to seal since there is no universal design. Our applications engineers were able to select a product that would provide the necessary chemical resistance and a longer service life. GYLON EPIX® 3504 showed no sign of chemical attack after 8 months of service.
